Vapor Barrier

A material used to prevent moisture from penetrating walls, ceilings, and floors, typically installed in basements and crawl spaces to protect against dampness. Example: During the basement renovation, a vapor barrier was installed to prevent moisture intrusion and protect the new flooring and walls.
