Quarter Round Molding

A small, convex molding that is quarter of a circle in cross section, often used at the base of baseboards to cover the gap between the flooring and the baseboard. Example: Quarter round molding was installed along the edges of the newly laid hardwood floors to provide a seamless transition to the existing baseboards.
